Empowered for Purpose: Inside the Nsroma Program 2025 Journey

The Nsroma Program 2025 unfolded as more than a calendar of meetings—it became a transformational journey for women committed to growth, purpose, and impact. From March through December, the program intentionally nurtured leadership, spiritual grounding, entrepreneurship, communication, and financial wisdom, shaping what it truly means to be an empowered woman in today’s world.

Setting the Tone: Empowered for Purpose

The year began on a powerful note with an International Women’s Day webinar themed Empowered for Purpose. Facilitated by Mrs. Mildred Mensah-Mannoh, the session challenged participants to examine whether their careers, relationships, and faith were genuinely aligned with their purpose. Her message was both affirming and confronting—growth must be pursued deliberately in every season of life.

Central to her message was the concept of the 3 M’s: Mission, Marriage, and Ministry—pillars that anchor a life of purpose. The reminder was clear: when purpose becomes the anchor, life feels lighter and direction becomes clearer.

Reflection, Accountability, and Sisterhood

In April, the program shifted into a reflective and grounding phase under the guidance of Dr. Ellen Hagan. Through reflections on the When Women Speak documentary and a detailed orientation, participants were reminded that transformation requires discipline and accountability.

A defining moment was the honest review of participant engagement, reinforcing the importance of commitment. The session was further enriched by live testimonies from trailblazing Nsromas whose personal stories brought the power of sisterhood and growth to life.

Becoming Her: Navigating Power, Purpose, and Growth

The first in-person gathering in May, led by Mrs. Joyce Boeh-Ocansey, addressed a reality many women quietly wrestle with—balancing ambition, career, and family. Drawing from personal experience, she emphasized clarity of priorities, sustainable decision-making, and excellence in every assignment.

Anchored in Philippians 4:13, her session highlighted silent prayer, trusted counsel, and intentional focus as essential tools for growth. Her mantra, “Approach every assignment like it’s the World Cup,” became a defining takeaway—excellence is not situational; it is a lifestyle.

From Follower to Leader: A Mindset Shift

June’s online session introduced a pivotal shift in thinking. Mrs. Joycelyn Mends-Ainoo reframed leadership as influence rather than position, echoing the words of John C. Maxwell that leadership is fundamentally about impact.

Participants were challenged to examine their daily posture—are they waiting to be led, or choosing to take responsibility? The session reinforced a powerful truth: leadership begins with mindset, not titles.

Faith-Driven Entrepreneurship and Practical Skills

As the year progressed, the Nsroma Program became increasingly practical. The Proverbs 31 Entrepreneur session in September helped participants align faith with enterprise, offering tools for purpose discovery and entrepreneurial direction.

This was followed by a high-energy Public Speaking Masterclass in October with Mr. Dei, where confidence, articulation, and presence took center stage. By November, the focus shifted to financial stewardship, with Mrs. Evangelina Larvie Nutsugah equipping participants with everyday money-management skills grounded in discipline, wisdom, and faith. The Nsroma Woman: Prepared for Impact

From leadership to finances, from mindset to ministry, each session of the Nsroma Program 2025 built intentionally on the next. The result is the Nsroma woman—grounded, confident, disciplined, and purpose-driven.

More than a program, Nsroma remains a sisterhood committed to raising women who are not only empowered for themselves but prepared to influence their families, communities, and spheres of leadership with clarity and conviction.

Beyond in-person gatherings, the Ellen Hagan NSROMA PROGRAM facilitated four online sessions, featuring distinguished resource persons such as Amazing Grace Anim-Yeboah, Mrs. Joyce Boeh-Ocansey, and Dr. Ellen Hagan. These sessions addressed critical topics, including work-life balance, identity and goal setting, and the foundational pillars of career, spirituality, and relationships, equipping Nsromas with the insights needed to navigate both their professional and personal lives effectively.

To complement these discussions, the program also organized job shadowing sessions, offering participants direct exposure to the professional environments of accomplished women, including Essie Anor Sackey, Berla Mundi, Mrs. Joyce Boeh-Ocansey, and Akweley Bulley. This initiative provided Nsromas with hands-on learning opportunities, enhancing their understanding of leadership, decision-making, and career progression. The sessions also fostered one-on-one mentorship and career guidance, bridging the gap between aspiration and practical experience.

The program concluded with a graduation ceremony on Tuesday, 22nd October 2024, featuring distinguished guests Mrs. NanaAdjoa Dei-Awuku Esq., Amazing Grace Anim-Yeboah, and Mrs. Joyce Boeh-Ocansey. The event, themed “Ask Me Any

Question,” created a platform for Nsromas to engage directly with seasoned professionals, gaining deeper insights into personal and career development.

Each of these engagements reinforced Nsroma’s commitment to providing practical knowledge, mentorship, and access to industry leaders, ensuring that participants are well-equipped for the next phase of their professional and personal journeys.

Throughout the program, participants engaged in continuous learning through curated videos, movie clips, and resource notes, reinforcing the value of intentional development across all aspects of life. A key feature was the introduction of the 8 Core Skills for a Full and Meaningful Life, providing a structured framework to guide Nsromas toward long-term success.

The program extended into 16th January 2025, with a dedicated online session focused on goal setting for the year ahead, ensuring that each participant remained aligned with their aspirations and positioned for excellence in 2025.

To conclude the program’s engagements, Nsromas participated in a Cervical Cancer Awareness Talk and Screening on 31st January 2025. This session underscored the importance of women’s health, early detection, and preventive care, reaffirming the program’s commitment to holistic empowerment—mentally, professionally, and physically.
